L A Times Festival of Books

I'll be reading Beep and Bah on the Target book stage at this years Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. Look around my studio

I've recently added a new page to my website where you can look around my studio. Using photshop's photo merge option I created a 360 degree picture of my work space. All you have to do is click on the thumbnail and you can see my entire studio and all of it's contents. 

Hippo on a high wire

This drawing was not inspired by my daughter. I just have this weird love of drawing hippos. They've always been one of my favorite animals to draw at the zoo. Probably due to the fact that they are easily caricatured. There's also something funny about imagining a hippo on the high wire. There's no need for a net.
